How to get the most of your sub
where should you place your subs to get the best sound without having "dead zone"?
1: Always place in on the ground. If the speaker is elevated you will lose a lot of you bottom end and you will end up with a flat sound. No one wants that
2: If you only have one subwoofer to work with placing them in corners will give you a free 3db in sound. this will help give you a little boost.
3: If you are using more then one sub always place them together. When subwoofers are placed together they create a coupling effect that gives you another 3db gain.. Example, if you have two subs that are 131db per sub and you place them side by side you will end up with a total of a 137db of sound. This is a huge SPL gain that you will notice.
There are many more tricks the more subs you add to your rig but this is a start. Doing all these thing will help give you a deeper and more filling bass that everyone tries achieve.
